Air source heat pumps in Hednesford

Working in Hednesford

Hednesford sits between Cannock and the Chase, with former colliery terraces near the centre, post-war estates at Pye Green and Rawnsley, and a good deal of newer housing on the edges of town, all within sight of Hednesford Hills.

Cavity-wall semis in Hednesford, once insulated, are often good candidates for an air source heat pump with a few radiator upgrades. Hednesford's mix of older terraces and newer homes means energy upgrades range from insulation-first plans to straightforward solar and battery installs.

For Hednesford (WS12), planning applications are handled by Cannock Chase District Council, and highways matters such as scaffold licences, skips on the road and dropped kerbs by Staffordshire County Council. Our yard at Kimberley Business Park is only around six miles from our yard over the Chase.

How we work

We calculate heat loss room by room, check the radiators, then specify a heat pump and cylinder that match the house. Oversized units waste money and undersized ones leave rooms cold, so the design stage matters.

Positioning the outdoor unit is about noise, airflow, neighbours and pipe runs. We agree the location with you and check whether it falls within permitted development limits.
