Staff4dshire PropertiesFull garden transformation
📍 Rob, Lichfield
We turned Rob's garden in Lichfield into a complete outdoor living space, with sandstone paving, decorative gravel on a stabilisation grid, raised sleeper beds and a new 8x4 shed on a concrete base. The centrepiece is a semi-sunken block-and-brick firepit area under a hardwood pergola. We also fitted a new 7.3m canopy, a hardwood gate and new fencing, and kept the Red Robin and roses Rob wanted to save.
Staff4dshire PropertiesTerraced garden, patios and steps
📍 Martin, Coalbrookdale
On a sloping garden in Coalbrookdale, we built sleeper retaining walls with land drainage behind them, laid Indian sandstone patios and a relaid path, and put in sleeper steps with a handrail. We installed ACO channel drainage and a soakaway so the garden drains properly, then finished with a glass balustrade. We also carried out extra roofing work for Martin.
Staff4dshire PropertiesNew driveway and garden
📍 Michelle, Wolverhampton
We gave Michelle's home in Wolverhampton a new two-coat tarmac driveway on a compacted Type 1 sub-base, with a block border and ACO drainage connected to the existing system. At the back we built sleeper walls, a Black Ice decorative gravel patio and a stone slab path with a step.

📍 Ron, Newcastle-under-Lyme
We laid an 18m² Kandela grey Indian sandstone patio for Ron, fully bedded on mortar over a compacted sub-base and laid to falls for drainage. We also built a single step from the house and a gravel margin with a block border.
Staff4dshire PropertiesGarden re-landscape and new lawn
📍 Sue, Hatton (Derby)
We re-landscaped Sue's rear garden in Hatton. We took out the old path, brought in a mini digger to dig out and level the ground, and laid fresh topsoil and around 35m² of new turf.

📍 David, Wednesbury
We put in a timber sleeper retainer to lift and level David's rear garden in Wednesbury, then laid a 5.0m x 4.4m grey slab patio and patched in new turf to match the lawn.

📍 Becky, Lichfield

Staff4dshire Roofing SpecialistsGarden room roof repairs
📍 Nick, Stafford
We surveyed the roof on Nick's garden room in Stafford and found leaks from the previous installer's work. We then carried out targeted repairs to the EPDM roof, the rooflight, the parapet and the abutments to stop the water getting in.
Staff4dshire Groundworks & UtilitiesSubfloor propping, Hartington Street
📍 Loughborough
Working for principal contractor United Living on behalf of Nottingham Community Housing Association, we put in temporary Acrow propping on timber sole plates and spreaders to support the subfloor structures in occupied social housing on Hartington Street. We inspected and monitored the props for the whole support period, then struck them and moved them on, all under a full risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) and a permit-to-load process.

📍 Zara, Walsall
We cleared the old hedging and roots, dug out and prepared the sub-base, and laid a new 6m x 2.4m paved drive with a concrete edging retainer. At the back we laid a 3m x 5m porcelain patio, a 2.5m x 5.6m bark play area where the old shed stood, and 5.4m x 5.6m of artificial grass on a compacted Type 1 sub-base.
