Working in Walsall
Walsall has a large stock of Victorian and Edwardian terraces close to the centre, inter-war and post-war semis across Bloxwich, Aldridge, Pelsall and Rushall, and plenty of commercial and industrial premises near the M6.
In Walsall, extensions often involve party walls, tight access and shared drains, so planning the build and keeping neighbours informed are key. Walsall's older streets have plenty of shared and combined drains, while its industrial sites bring larger groundworks and surfacing jobs.
In Walsall (WS1 to WS9), Walsall Council handles both planning applications and highways matters such as scaffold licences, skips on the road and dropped kerbs. Our yard at Kimberley Business Park is around seventeen miles south via the A461.
How we work
Before work starts, your scheme needs the right approvals: planning permission or permitted development, Building Regulations approval and, where relevant, party wall agreements. We will tell you what is needed and work with your designer.
We design for lower running costs too, with good insulation and the option of heat pumps, solar PV and battery storage through Margav Energy, so the extension is comfortable and efficient as well as spacious.
